The International Workshop ‘The grammar of
reference and quantification: functions, variation,
and change’ will take place at the University of
Bologna (Italy), June 15-16 2017, as the 2017
edition of the series ‘Workshops on Referential
Expressions in Discourse (RED)’. It is organized by
Chiara Gianollo (Università di Bologna, Italy),
Nicola Grandi (Università di Bologna, Italy) and
Klaus von Heusinger (Universität zu Köln, Germany).
The meeting continues the discussion opened during
the 2016 version on the interface properties of
reference and quantification: this time the
participants will discuss the written version of
their contribution, in order to produce a joint
publication.
